Microsoft is planning to open its first RETAIL stores this fall, and some are even going to be next door to existing Apple stores!
Microsoft COO Kevin Turner mentioned this during his keynote at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in July 2009.
What a great move.
There are no details about the actual strategy except that it will start happening this fall (When Windows 7 is released to the public). However, in a leaked power point presentation it looks like the following image is the new Microsoft Store Logo.
